Memories and excitement

As of today, I only have 3 day left until I head back to my hometown of Jamestown,ND.  I cannot believe that I have not been back for a Christmas in 3 years.  Those three years of Christmas' have been spent traveling to Boise or mom/dad traveling to WA.  Christmas to me is time spent with family, all family.  I am so excited to be able to spend this Christmas with not only my parents but my grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.  I am hoping to connect up with a good childhood friend of mine, Jill.  Today, I am spending Christmas with my sister and her family.  We are taking a North Pole Express Train ride up to the foothills to see Santa and have quality time with family.

Where does time go?  I remember being a little child who spent Christmas Eve at my Grandparents house where we slept in a "walk in closet."  I would always wake up early to run down my Grandparents Day's stairs to see what Santa brought.  Then would I go back to the "closet" to tell Nicole what she got.  She hated me when I always did this.  To this day, I still wake up early and go to my stocking.

I am so excited for what this Christmas is bringing.  A new meaning to the season of hope, peace, comfort, and my Saviors birth.  But also spending time with family and creating new memories.
