Current

My weight loss journey began in April of 2011 and has been going strong to this day.  In this time frame, I have lost 80 pounds, went from a size 22 to size 12 dress pants, and lost 8.5 percent body fat.  In this time frame, I have completed two beginner distance triathlons (400 yd swim, 6 mile bike, and 2 mile run/walk) and one sprint distance triathlon (750 yd swim, 12.5 mile bike, and 3 mile run/walk).  I have accomplished being able to jog a mile in less then 15 minutes.  Before, I was lucky to jog a minute before stopping.  I participate in group exercises classes on a weekly basis such as cycling, bootcamp, and TRX.

I have never felt so energized and so positive until now. I can now look people in the eye while at the same time holding my head up, because I no longer have to hide.  I finally feel beautiful inside and out! And it's only going to continue to get better.
